Dear His Excellency General Paiboon Koomchaya

I need to inform you about the situation that is occurring at Temple Phra Dhammakaya in Pathumthani Province Thailand.  Your department, the Department of Special Investigations, is violating Phra Thepyanmahamuni Dhammachaiyo’s human rights.  Four doctors that are caring for him have written individual doctors notes that clearly state for the abbot to rest and restrict travel as he is too weak to do so.  As a result, Phra Thepyanmahamuni Dhammachaiyo’s lawyer sent in a request to change the meeting date and the DSI (Department of Special Investigation) received and acknowledged the request, more importantly, they accepted it.

Your department is handling this case in a very particular way that appears to be intentional.  Your department accused Phra Thepyanmahamuni Dhammachaiyo for a crime he did not commit. Your department has put pressure and funfairs on an old sick monk (Phra Thepyanmahamuni Dhammachaiyo).  Your department already accepted the request to change the scheduled meeting date from April 25th to May 16^th of 2016 and your department is being unfair to an old sick monk (Phra Dhammachaiyo). 

 Your DSI’s (Department of Special Investigation) intentions are questionable and clearly unethical towards human rights and proper use of government power. I would like to let you know that the way you are handling this case is serious and I will take matters further by reporting this case to the United Nations in New York State USA.

I am sending you a copy of the book The Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10, 1984.
